FEV1/FVC ratio (FEV1%)
Description
FEV1/FVC (FEV1%) is the ratio of Forced expiratory volume in 1 second ( the volume of air that can forcibly be blown out in one second, after full inspiration) to the Forced vital capacity ( the volume of air that can forcibly be blown out after full inspiration) at a basic forced volume vital capacity (FVC) test. FVC is the most basic maneuver in spirometry tests.
